Services

Visiting Hospice Services

We provide non-medical support by trained volunteers and will visit individuals and families in the home, the hospital or long-term care facilities.  Depending on the wishes and needs of the individual/family, visits can be weekly or more frequent.

Our care will begin with a confidential needs assessment and then a volunteer(s) will be carefully matched.

Our volunteers provide support such as:

  • Companionship, listening, and reading aloud
  • Simple comfort measures, back rubs, and position changes
  • The opportunity for family caregivers to feel comfortable in taking time away from the bedside.

 Bereavement Services

Grief can be a challenging experience. We support Bruce Peninsula residents of all ages who are experiencing loss.  Our programs help our bereaved clients work through the many emotions and reactions that are a normal part of the grieving process as they journey toward healing. Our programs include, but are not limited to, bereavement support groups, public presentations, walking groups and social events.

We respect and protect the privacy and confidentiality of all of our clients.

What our clients are saying

""I can't imagine what I would have done without their help. They made my Mom's last days manageable. They are truly gifted in what they do."
""Thank you for making a terrible time easier."
"I felt this was a very professional service with a very "homey" touch that was equally caring...like that of an old friend."
