Bruce Peninsula residents WIN BIG, RAISE FUNDS AND SUPPORT for Bruce Peninsula Hospice
Eight prizes valued at over $3,700 were won as part of Bruce Peninsula Hospice’s annual raffle draw hosted at the Lion’s Head Friendship Hall last week. The raffle is a major fundraiser for the organization, this year raising over $11,000 for visiting hospice services, education, and bereavement support for the community. Prizes were donated by local businesses.
The Experience the Peninsula Grand Prize was won by Rob Babin of Thunder Bay.
The other lucky winners:
4th Prize, a Samsung Tablet, was won by Laurie Watkins of Wiarton; 5th Prize, a Taste of the Peninsula Package, was won by Mattie Goetstouwers of Lion’s Head; 6th Prize, the Pamper Me Package, was won by Betty Idle of Hepworth; 7th Prize, the Hand Tools Package, was won by Kathy Babin Niven of Shallow Lake; 8th Prize, a $250 Home Hardware Gift Card, was won by Lois McLay of Stokes Bay.
The raffle helps to support the volunteer-run organization, which last year provided hospice and bereavement services to over 80 families on the Bruce Peninsula. “Our annual raffle is one way that we’re able to continue to provide high quality services for clients with progressive life-limiting illnesses and their families as well as those that are bereaved,” said Paul Lavigne, Chair. “We’re so grateful to everyone who purchased a ticket, to all our volunteers for helping sell tickets, and to the amazing businesses that donated prizes.”
THANK YOU !
Bruce Peninsula Hospice would like to thank the following local businesses for their valued raffle prize contributions this year.
