What an amazing community we are, full of big-hearted, creative and generous individuals. Bruce Peninsula Hospice has had an outstanding response to our 2020 Virtual Hike for Hospice. We were not sure our goal of $30,000 could be reached with the limitations that COVID-19 put on our usual plans. We at Bruce Peninsula Hospice are grateful for everyone — our dedicated volunteers, all the teams and participants who raised funds, for all the contributors, our many community partners and our 2020 Hike for Hospice sponsors: Ebel Quarries Inc., Middlebro & Stevens Wiarton Office and Tim Hortons. Together, we did it! Our 2020 Virtual Hike for Hospice raised $30,000 and we could not have done it without you.
Providing hospice care and bereavement support through this pandemic has challenged us as an organization but with your partnership we have been able to continue our caring support by phone and virtually. For 25 years, individuals and their families have given us their trust by inviting us into their special circle of care. In 2020, Bruce Peninsula Hospice celebrates a quarter century of caring service to over 1,000 people in our area and we could not be more excited or grateful for the many people who have made this support happen. We will keep you posted as we are able to celebrate this milestone and thank you again sincerely for your extraordinary support in these extraordinary times.
Have a great and safe summer!
With our best wishes,
Bruce Peninsula Hospice
